"Soon-2-be" Mother's Day

Ok, so my honey went above and beyond (again) to make me feel special this Mother's Day! First of all, I didn't even think about celebrating, because technically, I'm not a mother...yet! However, Dre in all his romantic glory did something special for me each day last week, (pre-natal massage, mani/pedi, movie night, etc...) and topped it off with a private dinner at "La Dressing" (lol...insider) as we were serenaded by the tunes of Robin Thicke. The food...EDDIE V'S...My absoloute favorite restaurant in Houston!!*aside from a good crawfish joint of course* :-)
Lobster bisque, clam chowder, crab fried rice, truffled mac and cheese and redfish topped with jumbo lump crabmeat...and a mixed green salad...later.
The setup was amazing...it was quite funny though because as soon as we got in the car, I had to close my eyes, because he didn't want me to see where we were going. He wanted me to be blindfolded, but I couldn't mess up my BCBG scarf with makeup! lol...We had been driving 3 minutes, when lo and behold, I had to go...pretty bad too. The ride seemed to last forever, especially because my bladder was filled to the max, and my eyes being closed just added to the suspense of the moment. I really had to trust him when I got out...as clumsy as I already was pre-pregnancy, getting out of the car without being able to see and having to use it, I might as well had been tightrope walking blindfolded! He led me to the private room, and all I can say was it was soooooo up my alley! Rose petals, dim lighting, music, and food...all with the hottest man alive! Talk about a dream date...:-)

Your daddy is awesome baby girl. He has really set the bar high for Father's Day! We are definitely going to have to come with it! Although... you may make your grand appearance then, which would be the best Father's Day gift of all right?;-) lol....
